My classroom is a very small room. It was designed for fifteen students. In the past few years, my district has increased class size. We went up to twenty kids, and now we are up again to twenty-four. I have no place for the kids to store their backpacks and coats. My students need a place for their stuff. The coats and packs can't hang on the back of the chairs because of space. It would be an evacuation hazard. They can't leave them outside for fear of theft. I need a set of cubbies so each child will have a space to put his/her belongings.
