The arrival of these resources helped create a positive and encouraging atmosphere, and my students felt supported knowing that others are cheering them on and investing in their success.\r\n\r\nWe used these snacks as motivation and encouragement leading up to the state tests, as well as during and after testing days. My class spent countless hours reading, writing, and concentrating on lengthy computer-based assessments, which requires tremendous focus and dedication. They notice differences in color, fins, and how each fish swims. This helps them practice observing and describing similarities and differences.
