We are requesting a Cricut machine and vinyl sheets. Using these materials, my students will create a "quilt" to showcase their rich culture. This project will help students and myself understand the path they've taken in life up until now and learn about their culture. We will create a quilt with the whole class which will be put together to showcase our diversity; like a quilt with different patchwork designs. We will create intricate designs using symbols and colors that resemble our culture and traditions. I hope to help students feel welcomed and foster an inclusive environment through this project. They have so much to offer in our classroom!

About my class
