A messy desk means a messy mind. In the classroom, students sometimes have books and papers piled high, making it difficult and uncomfortable to produce work. The hope is that the students develop organizational skills over the years. We, the teachers and donors, step in by purchasing tools that help foster that clean mindset. \r\n\r\nThis is my first year in an ICT (Integrated Co-Teaching) classroom. We have some students with IEPs and some without. We also have students who speak languages other than English. Before beginning instruction to support students, clearing the workspace adequately is the key to success. So when we brought out the items gratefully purchased by all the donors, the students were eager to use them appropriately. \r\n\r\nI would also like to personally thank The Bezos Family Foundation for their support in helping boost this project to the finish line.
