Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them. I have noticed amazing differences in my students when they are given new supplies. They almost always make good choices about being more engaged, and get activities completed when they are feeling and smelling good. These resources will allow our students to have socks, soap, toothpaste and much more that will be used at home and during school hours. Many of our students also goes to after school programs in the building. Having these materials that may not be accessible to them at home, can now be provided in our school building.
