The impact of adding play-based learning has been amazing. The blocks have opened up a creative side for many of my students. The structures they build with the blocks are unbelievable. They are learning how to balance the weight of the structures so they don't fall over. They also work as a team to build even larger structures. The joy of accomplishment is seen as they smile ear to ear.\r\nThe math builders have also been a great asset. I place different manipulative boxes on each table and allow the students to build freely. This has opened up such creativity in all of my students. Since each box holds something different, imaginations can run wild.\r\nThese manipulatives have brought my students together is many ways. They can work as a team, or they can work independently. I feel that these building tools have allowed all students to feel successful with their builds. Not all students can demonstrate knowledge simply by pencil and paper. I have witnessed my struggling students feel a sense of pride and success in a simple or complex build. \r\nThank you all so very much for helping \"Building Up our Kindergarten Class\" and allowing creativity and all-around success for all of my kindergarten students.","fullyFundedDate":1761100977168,"projectUrl":"project/building-up-our-kindergarten-class/9666182/","projectTitle":"Building up our Kindergarten Class","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Gonzalez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8077926_orig.jpg?crop=1778,1778,x0,y195&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1756582816837","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8077926"},{"teacherId":802574,"projectId":9049276,"letterContent":"Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts.
