My classroom is set-up in a way where multiple groups are held simultaneously; students work in groups of 2-5 students at a time. And we generally work on standards and skills they struggle with, which can be frustrating and difficult for them. Having flexible seating options in my classroom will deliver a sense of relief and be very empowering for my students as they will be able to identify the type of seating that helps them be the most engaged and productive. I think it will also help their self-esteem to see that if other options haven't been successful for them, it was only a matter of trying something different.
