I really love Leapfrog devices because they allow me to decide what is appropriate for my students to view and interact with. There is a \"search\" feature that allows students limited access to the internet, with a list of pre-approved websites that they can interact with. This feature, combined with games and media designed to promote literacy and numeracy, has made these devices well worth the purchase. \r\n My students are so excited to be able to \"play on the tablets\" every time I get out our new devices. I am excited to be able to trust these devices to keep students engaged while practicing skills we are learning in class in a fun and appropriate way. I've recently been able to structure my classroom routines around the addition of these devices, which has afforded me the ability to work with other students individually and in small groups.
