I have finished the series, and learned more about the relationship between trauma and brain development. This series helped me gain a better understanding on how to de-escalate students when they are exhibiting challenging behaviors. I will be able to use what I have learned in this professional development to not only directly help my students, but also to support and coach the teachers at my school. \r\n\r\nOne of my favorite things about this training was hearing from other educators on how they have implemented what they have learned in their schools. Their ideas gave me some fresh ideas of what I can do at my school. I am excited to implement what I have learned. \r\n\r\nWorking in school with less than adequate resources can be a challenge.
