The materials and resources I am requesting provide a foundation in our classroom to build students' reading and science experiences so that they are organized, hands-on, and meaningful. Our district has recently adopted Reader's Workshop, and we are in need of book totes for the classroom. Additionally, as a teacher involved with the district's initiative for inquiry-based learning, allowing students to have hands-on, visual science materials is extremely important. Keeping our classroom engaging and organized is one way I help students build their academic foundation. My hope is that our classroom is a place of wonder and discovery. Thank you for helping.
