We are extremly lucky because our school has provided the students with 9 iPads to use throughout the day. The iPad cases however are broken and no longer protect the iPads. Theses foam cases will allow the students to carry the iPads, and show their learning through videos, and voice recording. Through apps on the iPad, protective equipment, and microphones, students are able to video or photograph their work, and use their voices to explain their thinking to me. Kindergarteners are extremely smart, but are not yet able to write. These materials will allow students to be much more independent in the classroom, while still showing the teacher what they know. In addition, the stools will give the students a defined place to sit and work while using the technology. These will help these young learners learn the rules, and how to use these technology that may be new to many of them.
