It is such a simple tool, but an effective (and fun!) way for the kids to stay engaged and work hard during our reading time. My students are also really enjoying reading the National Geographic books and are more motivated to practice their English skills while reading these vibrant books. \r\n\r\nThank you again for all of your support! Today was the day of our big \"bake-off\" that my students have been anticipating for weeks. Students who rarely are engaged in class showed up with mixing bowls and wooden spoons in their backpacks! \r\n\r\nWe have been practicing doing ratios and converting measurements and we've also talked about chemical reactions and physical properties, but today they learned so much more than that.
