In my classroom, I plan to set up a table just for the OSMO. The OSMO genious package comes with a mirror and a docking station in which you put the iPad. I would have to download all the apps that are meant for each component. In the beginning, I would guide students on how to use each component. As the year progresses I would let kids choose what component they would want to use. These are their choices: tangrams (math), words (English language arts), numbers (math), masterpiece (drawing), newton (creating gadgets/science) and CODING (programming for kids). Allowing kids to choose which component of the OSMO they like allows them to feel free and accountable for their own learning.
