At this point, they had no idea that these beautiful creatures would turn into amazing butterflies. I started to teach a lesson on the life cycle of the butterfly. We first read The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. They loved it!\r\n\r\nThe next day, we watched a video of the life cycle. They couldn't stop waving their arms like butterflies. Then we began gluing pictures of caterpillars to a calendar and drawing and writing what our caterpillars are look like in our observation journal.\r\n\r\nWe are waiting for them to go into the chrysalis stage and then finally turn into butterflies. The pictures will be priceless to see their amazement and excitement! I am so grateful that you have funded this project!
