I was able to receive funding to provide much needed general supplies for my students. One of the items that was purchased was deodorant for my students. they were very grateful to have this available for them especially on gym days. My athletes all came to my room before practices and sports games to use the deodorant to feel confident. A simple thing like deodorant may be something they cant afford to bring to school but to have it available is important. It gives them a sense of confidence. \r\n\r\nAnother item that was purchased and much needed are snacks for the students. Most of my students get free lunch and families cant afford extras like snacks. Many of the students stay after school for clubs and sports. It may be hours before they go home to eat. They can choose from pretzels, gold fish crackers and Rice Krispies Treats.\r\n\r\nOther items I received were band aids, hair ties, feminine hygiene pads, and an electric pencil sharpener. Your donation of 28 copies of each of four different books has made such a meaningful impact on our students, and we are truly thankful.\r\n\r\nThere is something so special about being able to share a book with an entire classroom and watch students experience a story together. Your donation has given us that opportunity! We have already had the pleasure of reading one of the books together, and it has been wonderful to see the excitement, engagement, and conversations it has sparked among our students. We are looking forward to exploring the other three books together and creating even more special reading experiences.\r\n\r\nYour gift is so much more than a donation of books. You have given our students opportunities to build their reading skills, use their imaginations, develop a love of literature, and create memories through shared stories. Having enough copies for everyone means that every child can follow along, participate, and feel included in the experience.\r\n\r\nAs a teacher, it means so much to have people who are willing to invest in our students and their education. Your generosity has brought something special into our classroom, and its impact will continue long after this school year.\r\n\r\nFrom the bottom of my heart, thank you for thinking of our classroom and making such a wonderful difference in the lives of our students. Your generosity has made a lasting difference in ways that extend far beyond the items you purchased. Because of your kindness, I was able to create a beautiful and welcoming Peace Corner—a safe space where my students can pause, reflect, and regulate their emotions. Many of my students face challenges outside of the classroom, and having a dedicated place to practice calming strategies has helped them become more emotionally aware, build resilience, and develop healthy techniques for managing their feelings. Watching them independently use these tools has been one of the most rewarding experiences of the school year.\r\n\r\nYour donations also came at the perfect time as our school transitioned into a brand-new building. Since our playground was not yet ready, indoor recess quickly became a daily routine. Thanks to the games, activities, and toys you provided, what could have been a challenging situation turned into an opportunity for laughter, teamwork, creativity, and connection. In fact, many of my students looked forward to indoor recess and often chose to stay inside to enjoy the engaging activities together. These resources created a joyful classroom environment where students continued to learn valuable social skills while simply having fun.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in my classroom and, most importantly, in my students. Your generosity created a space where children felt safe, supported, and excited to learn every day.
