Students also enjoyed having the option of working with fine and/or ultrafine Sharpies to create clean lines and bold contrast on their CDs/DVDs. \r\n\r\nStudents spent much time on their line environments creating both rough and final drafts. My students are still completing their CDs/DVDs--as these projects can be finetuned an endless amount of times with the help of dry erase markers in order to change incorrect lines. Students created rough drafts of their asymmetry/symmetry designs on paper and then completed the CDs/DVDs as their final projects. The addition of the blue flexible seating chairs have been a huge hit and incentive for working hard to be able to use one at our tech center! I also greatly appreciate the microfiber towels that make our dry-erase board usage a breeze to erase! The fidget tools have also been a great aid to my students with high needs and energy. The rug also provides a structured space for circle time and small-group discussions, making transitions smoother and helping students stay organized and engaged.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the rug, they were so excited—they immediately wanted to find their spots and explore the colors and patterns. It brought a sense of joy and ownership to our classroom space. Moving forward, we plan to continue using the rug as the heart of our learning environment—for morning meetings, story time, and group instruction.
