Because of your generosity, my students will walk into a classroom filled with resources that were chosen just for them. From our cozy library with new books, a rug, and pillows, to our small group area with new stools, every gift will help create a welcoming space where students feel excited to learn.\r\n\r\nI know my students are going to be so excited when they see everything. Many of them have never had the opportunity to learn with brand new classroom materials made just for them. I can already imagine them settling into our library with a new book, gathering around the whiteboards to solve a math problem, or smiling as they work together during small group lessons. Those little moments matter because they help children feel like they belong.\r\n\r\nWe will use these resources every single day. The whiteboards, markers, and erasers will become part of our reading and math lessons as students practice new skills, share their thinking, and build confidence. The library will be a place where students can discover new stories and develop a love of reading. The stools will make our small group instruction more comfortable and give students a space where they can ask questions, practice challenging skills, and celebrate their growth together.\r\n\r\nMy biggest hope is that my classroom becomes a place where students are excited to come each morning. I want them to feel safe, valued, and willing to try things that seem difficult. Your generosity is helping make that possible.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in my students before you have even met them. Your gift is so much more than classroom supplies. It is an investment in children who are eager to learn, and I am truly grateful for your support.","fullyFundedDate":1783456379786,"projectUrl":"project/energized-incoming-second-grade-teacher/10329198/","projectTitle":"Energized Incoming Second Grade Teacher","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Bullock","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8290850_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1643257511184","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8290850"},{"teacherId":10518049,"projectId":10305697,"letterContent":"I truly cannot fully describe my appreciation for your assistance with building my first classroom. Because of these supplies, me and my students have the best chance to hit the ground running into the school year and succeed in every area. You helped provide playground equipment for students that maybe can't afford to bring things to play themselves, special markers and materials to make one student feel special every week when they may not get to feel that at home, and teacher materials that let me put all of my effort into providing my students with the best knowledge possible instead of worrying about whether or not I have supplies. \r\nOnce again, my appreciation cannot be put into words.","fullyFundedDate":1780145454130,"projectUrl":"project/small-supplies-big-dreams/10305697/","projectTitle":"Small Supplies, Big Dreams","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Higbee","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10518049_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1779999499290","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10518049"},{"teacherId":9846118,"projectId":9947287,"letterContent":"I wanted to sincerely thank you for providing funding for new reading materials for my classroom. As a special education teacher working with elementary students, access to engaging books makes an incredible difference in both the motivation and growth of my kiddos. Many of my students struggle with reading and often feel discouraged when materials are either too difficult or not interesting to them. Being able to place new, high-interest books into their hands has already created excitement and curiosity in ways that are hard to fully describe. Every day, my kids come to class excited to discover new reading materials. \r\nOne of the most meaningful impacts has been seeing students begin to view themselves as readers again. When children are given books they can successfully access and connect with, their confidence grows quickly. I have watched students who were previously hesitant to participate become eager to read aloud, discuss stories, and ask to take books home. These new materials allow me to better meet students at their individual reading levels while still giving them age-appropriate and engaging content. One of my struggling readers had a rough moment the other day and needed some positive self-talk. I asked her to list three things that she was good at. This dear, sweet second grader told me that she feels like a fantastic reader. This is such a contrast from the tears and anxiety that accompanied any sort of reading with her at the beginning of the year! Her confidence and love of reading has grown exponentially. \r\nYour generosity is helping create a classroom environment where reading feels positive, safe, and attainable. Beyond academics, these books are helping students build confidence, independence, and a genuine enjoyment of learning. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to provide my students with resources that they may not otherwise have access to, and I know the impact of this grant will continue far beyond this school year. Thank you again for investing in my students and believing in their potential.","fullyFundedDate":1769178048691,"projectUrl":"project/books-that-help-every-child-believe-they/9947287/","projectTitle":"Books That Help Every Child Believe They Can Read","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Raymond","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9846118"},{"teacherId":7291332,"projectId":9603809,"letterContent":"On behalf of the students of Panorama Elementary, I would like to express our gratitude for your generous donation of a grade level set of recorders to our music program.\r\n\r\nYour gift is more than just a set of instruments; it is a vote of confidence in our student's potential. For many of our fifth graders, the recorder is their first introduction to reading notation and playing a wind instrument. \r\n\r\nStudents were asked to fill out a survey about the impact our new recorders have made in music class. Over 90% of the responses indicated that the students were very satisfied having recorders being part of the music curriculum. Several students stated that they liked learning a wind instrument over a percussive instrument. Other students referred to enjoying the learning process and performing songs with melodies.","fullyFundedDate":1760693717939,"projectUrl":"project/lets-make-sweet-music-together/9603809/","projectTitle":"Let's Make Sweet Music Together","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Webb","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7291332"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_53101","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":403,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":60,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":57,"percentIndigenous":4,"percentLatinx":30,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":3,"percentMultiracialImputed":3,"gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_MIDSIZE"},"inStateSupporters":64.9,"schoolId":53101,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Panorama Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Panorama Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/utah/washington-county-school-district/panorama-elementary-school/53101"}
