The use of these sensory tools is also beneficial to other students with special needs such as ADHD and anxiety. In a SP-ED classroom these tools are so helpful, and are expected as a resource in many instances. High-interest, low-level readers are known to help students cultivate a love of reading. Students who struggle with reading need engaging, exciting books to lure them towards what is a very daunting task to them.
