Baking has created a natural opportunity for turn-taking, requesting, commenting and following multi step directives.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials arrived, students were immediately engaged and excited to explore them. We have already seen a difference in the quality and success of their learning and experience, which are especially impactful for our students with significant communication and learning needs. These resources provide concrete, motivating opportunities to practice skills in a naturalistic context. \r\n\r\nOur bake sale is looking forward to continue using all these resources you so generously helped us receive. The 3D printer and LEGO donations have given my students the chance to turn their ideas into real, tangible creations. Many of my students learn best when they can see, touch, and build, and this technology has made abstract concepts much more concrete. For example, when we study geometry or engineering basics, they can now design and print models to hold in their hands—something that makes the learning process both meaningful and unforgettable.\r\nThe excitement in the classroom is undeniable. Students rush to see their designs come to life layer by layer on the printer, and the LEGOs have become a favorite tool for planning and prototyping before moving to digital design. One student who often struggled to stay engaged in traditional lessons has completely blossomed through this project. He now eagerly comes to class with new design ideas, and his confidence has soared as he proudly shares his creations with peers.\r\nYour generosity has not only provided new tools but has opened doors to future possibilities.
