I am a special education teacher in District 75 where we provide highly specialized instructional support for students with significant challenges. My classroom is like a garden of flowers. Every child of mine is different with different needs, but like flowers, a daily watering of love and attention is all they need to help them GROW. I will not state their disabilities because that is unfair. They are so much more than a label. They are funny. They are kind. They are hard workers. They never give up. My students work hard everyday for the things that typical developing humans take for granted. My students have many academic, social emotional, and physical needs. With all that my kids face in life, my kids are rockstars. They humble me. Thank you for taking the time to read about us. Please know that any donation is received with appreciation and grace.
