My Classroom is a bridge class of 4th and 5th graders who are all labeled with Various Disabilities.Many of my students lack the use of Technology in their homes. We are living in such a Technological world that lacking the knowledge about Technology will make their future even tougher than it already could be. The use of computers and books is a daily activity in my classroom, especially in the afternoon for silent reading/working time. Unfortunately our classroom is lacking Books as well as enough computers/iPads for the students to use. By expanding our reading library, and increasing the amount of Computers/iPads that the students can use, will allow me to give the tools that they need to succeed in todays world.Any chance these children have to read a book, or use Technology will increase their literacy skills as well as their desire to learn and explore their world.
