The listening center also gives them a chance to practice independently and build confidence as readers while I work with small groups.\r\n\r\nAs we continue using the listening center, students will explore new books, strengthen their reading skills, and discover just how much fun reading can be. They are excited to choose books independently and share what they notice and learn from each story.\r\n\r\nAs we continue reading these books, my students will have opportunities to explore new perspectives, build empathy, strengthen their reading skills, and develop a lifelong love of books. These resources give them opportunities to read, build, match, and practice sight words in a variety of ways while building their confidence and fluency.\r\n\r\nAs we continue learning new sight words, we will keep adding them to our classroom activities and games.
