A lot of the students are very early in the morning and by us being the last grade to have lunch a lot of them are hungry or need a snack at some point. The snacks have been very helpful with pushing them through the day. Not only that we often use the fruit snacks for games to keep the students engaged and eager to learn.\r\n\r\nWhen it comes to the pencils and the pencil sharpener they are greatly appreciated as well. Have you ever read the poem by Joshua Dickerson called \" Cause I Aint Got A Pencil? The poem talks about a child that was having a hard time getting dressed for school because so many things was going wrong, only for them to get to school and get fussed at by the teacher because they didn't have a pencil. I vowed to be the teacher to have supplies handy so that my students do not have to worry about that.\r\n\r\nAgain, thanks to you for everything.
