My goal is to provide my students with a comprehensive counseling program that meet the needs of our community. The materials that I am requesting will help support my students in a variety of ways. The book and social stories will provide students with literature to help them understand their emotions. The therapy games and activities will be used in group sessions. It will provide a fun and engaging way for students to practice the skills taught throughout the year. The journals and flex seating will allow students to de-escalate in a safe and comfortable environment. By donating to the project, you will help me to teach my scholars coping strategies for dealing with their stress and anxiety, build their character as well as their other emotional developmental needs.
