This slushie machine has been such a hit with our class. We use it a lot on Fridays for our Fun Friday treats. So far we have made blue Hawaiian Punch and Coke Slushies. We have make both of those flavors twice. The kids love watching the machine run and seeing the liquid turn to an icy mix. The next slushie we are going to try is lemonade! I know the kids are excited for that. We were in desperate need of new crayons and notebooks so the funding came at just the right time. Most of my kids crayons were broken and needed to be replaced. When we came back after Winter Break, all of my students were able to get a new box of crayons. They were so excited! Many of my students are ready for a new \"All Done\" Notebook as well. This is their notebook that they can use when they are done with their work. They can color, write, or draw in it. Parents felt at ease that items were provided at no cost to them which made the event even more enjoyable. When students saw all of the items displayed they were truly surprised they were all for them. They were so happy and enjoyed an endless amount of goodies throughout the night. Next steps for project is preparing for our school carnival we we are hosting in May.
