I am a firm believer that lack of money should not stand in the way of students getting the necessary tools they all need for learning. Your kindness and generosity is proof of that.\r\n\r\nMany families are not able to procure most of the traditional items on a school supply list, let alone headphones for the iPads we use in the classroom. Because I do my best to make sure every student has the same learning materials in the classroom, everyone feels welcomed and included in the learning that takes place. It's not easy for teachers to ensure we have enough of all the school supplies we need for our classrooms. That's why I'm so grateful for Donors Choose!\r\n\r\nThe expression on children's faces who don't have computer headphones when I pull a new box for them to use is priceless! Having these tools help our class to bond as a family and represent our school with a sense of pride and dedication to learning. We try to extend this attitude of gratitude throughout our classroom and entire school by offering help and support to others along our educational journey. I have the daily privilege to see the social skills of kindness, consideration of others, and helpfulness develop and grow in each of my students because of your donations. And this is a true testament of what learning is about.\r\n\r\nMy students and I appreciate all that you have done to make this extended learning experience possible.","fullyFundedDate":1757542442189,"projectUrl":"project/lets-plug-into-possibilities/9605384/","projectTitle":"Let's Plug into Possibilities","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Haines","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5604272_orig.jpg?crop=1744,1744,x152,y56&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1630001108022","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5604272"},{"teacherId":5478441,"projectId":9309859,"letterContent":"I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for your invaluable assistance in procuring decoding materials that support my structured literacy instruction. These headphones have become an essential part of our daily instruction, especially during small group reading and math sessions using iReady. Each student receives personalized instruction tailored to their learning level, and being able to clearly hear the lessons is critical to their success. The students especially enjoy using the headphones because they are colorful and comfortable, which helps them stay focused and engaged. With fewer distractions, they are able to immerse themselves in their learning and make meaningful progress in both reading and math.\r\n\r\nIn addition to technology-based learning, your support has enriched other areas of our classroom. Students joyfully used crayons to create and decorate heartfelt letters and envelopes for their loved ones, strengthening their writing and fine motor skills. Our white boards also allow for quick, interactive responses during math lessons, making it easy to assess understanding in real time and adjust instruction as needed.
