The scholars I teach have limited access to technology at school and their home environment. My 2nd grade scholars deserve to have access to technology on a daily basis. It would be such a joy to be able to provide my scholars with access to technology with the help of the Amazon Fire Tablets I am requesting. This opportunity would enhance and support their reading, writing, and math skills they need to excel academically in the 21st century. Scholars will be able to access educational websites and applications such as Zearn, Raz-Kids, ABCya, Prodigy and more. My goal is to create a classroom environment that will enhance their learning experience during the school day. As we know, children can benefit most from technology because it engages and creates active learners, encourages individual learning and growth and helps develop higher order thinking skills. I greatly appreciate all the support with this project for my scholars.
