One of our favorite classroom moments happened during a teamwork challenge where students worked together to protect targets while communicating and strategizing as a group. Students love opportunities to come up and be part of the lesson, and this technology creates far more chances for participation and movement. I already know the excitement level will be huge once it is installed.\r\n\r\nI am especially excited for students who learn best through movement, visuals, and hands-on experiences. Some students struggle with simply sitting and watching instruction, but giving them the opportunity to physically interact with learning can make a huge difference in engagement and understanding. Students are spread around the room with books open, sticky notes nearby, and notebooks filled with facts, questions, and discoveries. You can hear conversations about inventors, athletes, historical figures, activists, and leaders as students excitedly share surprising information they have learned.
