It's stocked with essentials like deodorant, hair ties, feminine products, and face wipes—things my students often need but might feel awkward asking for. We keep it right by the locker room so they can discreetly grab what they need before or after class. One student recently told me, \"It's so nice knowing this is here—I don't have to stress if I forget something.\" That one comment made it all worth it.\r\n\r\nThey were genuinely excited and relieved. One group huddled around the cart and kept pointing things out to each other like, \"Omg, they even have brushes!\" and \"Wait, can I take one of these scrunchies?\" There was laughter, curiosity, and a noticeable shift in comfort. \r\n\r\nAs the new school year approaches, one of our first lessons will be an a unit on wellness and body confidence in PE. It's all about movement, mindset, and self-respect—and the hygiene cart ties in beautifully. We're having open discussions about routines that help them feel good physically and emotionally. The next step is a mini-goal-setting project where each student chooses a \"wellness win\" they want to work on—whether it's staying active, drinking more water, or showing up for themselves with confidence. Having access to hygiene items is helping them take those steps with pride.","fullyFundedDate":1740680560103,"projectUrl":"project/locker-room-hygiene-cart/8909361/","projectTitle":"Locker Room Hygiene Cart","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Oliver","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9819525_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1730245200023","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/missoliverks"},{"teacherId":8830055,"projectId":8906758,"letterContent":"Thank you for allowing our students to have equipment that is in good shape and one piece.
