As a writing teacher, my students are constantly learning new techniques and skills, creating their own works, evaluating those works based on given criteria, and collaborating with their peers to enhance each other's writing. The interactive structure I strive to create is difficult, due to the current seating in my room: heavy desks with attached chairs. With a comfortable learning space that fosters communication, students will be able to improve their writing, as well as their soft skills. Lakeshore Learning's "comfy chairs" and "comfy couch" will provide the perfect workspace for my students to learn and grow, academically and socially.
