Many of my fifth graders love having the opportunity to choose books that match their interests, and these new additions to our classroom library have already made a huge impact. Students are eager to explore different genres, discover new series, and spend more time reading independently. It has been wonderful to watch students become more engaged and enthusiastic about reading because they finally have books that feel interesting, relatable, and fun to them.\r\n\r\nThese books are also helping strengthen important academic skills in our classroom. During reading time, students are practicing comprehension, vocabulary, critical thinking, and discussion skills while learning how to make connections with what they read. Having a variety of books available allows students at different reading levels to feel successful and included. Some of my more hesitant readers have even started asking if they can take books home or continue reading during free time, which has been incredibly rewarding to see as their teacher.\r\n\r\nYour kindness and support mean so much to both me and my students. You have helped create a classroom environment where reading feels exciting, welcoming, and meaningful. Thank you for investing in my students and encouraging a lifelong love of reading.
