It's where we meet, learn, read, and work together every single day. My students love having a soft, colorful space to gather, and it truly makes our classroom feel like home.\r\n\r\nYour generous donation to this rug will increase our time on the rug and give us more opportunities to learn in comfort and fun! With your donation I picked 8 new chairs. We really needed them. With that being said...\r\n\r\nThank you so much for your generous support in providing our classroom with new chairs! The students were thrilled when they first saw them — there were smiles all around, and several students immediately commented on how comfortable and bright our learning space felt. The new seating has truly transformed our classroom into a more inviting and collaborative environment where students are excited to learn each day.\r\n\r\nWe've already put the chairs to great use during group projects and discussions. Recently, students worked in small teams to design posters for our \"Community Helpers\" unit, and the new setup made it easier for them to move around, share ideas, and work together comfortably. It's amazing how something as simple as a new chair can make such a big difference in student engagement and focus!\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, our class is beginning a new writing project where students will be creating their own short stories. The flexible seating has made it possible to create small \"story corners,\" where students can brainstorm and share ideas with their peers. Your kindness and support mean more than words can express, and I am so excited to share just how much of a difference your gift is already making.\r\n\r\nAs a teacher, there's nothing more rewarding than seeing students engaged, excited, and motivated to learn. The moment the CVC items arrived, my students' eyes lit up with curiosity and enthusiasm. Even before we officially began using them in our lessons, many of them couldn't wait to explore and play with the new resources. These tools are not only fun and interactive, but they also provide the hands-on learning experience that is so essential in building strong early literacy skills.\r\n\r\nCVC words are a foundational part of phonics instruction, and having engaging materials to support this learning is incredibly important—especially for young learners who are just beginning their journey as readers. Thanks to your generosity, my students will now have the opportunity to practice blending, segmenting, and decoding words in a way that feels like play rather than work. This kind of meaningful learning experience helps build their confidence and fosters a lifelong love of reading.\r\n\r\nYour support has not only provided much-needed classroom resources, but it has also reminded me—and my students—that there are people out there who care deeply about education and are willing to invest in the success of children they've never even met. That's powerful. That's inspiring.\r\n\r\nI'll be using the CVC materials throughout the year during small groups, literacy centers, and one-on-one instruction. I truly believe they will make a lasting impact on my students' reading development.\r\n\r\nFrom the bottom of my heart, thank you again for your thoughtfulness and generosity. You are making a real difference, and we are so very grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1745846946903,"projectUrl":"project/cvc-word-fun-for-kindergartners/9199345/","projectTitle":"CVC Word Fun For Kindergartners!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Charlton","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7154843_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1623209787566","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7154843"},{"teacherId":8225728,"projectId":9052898,"letterContent":"I would like to express my deepest appreciation for the donations that lead to receiving a technology caninet, pocket chart, and wobble stools. This has been the best investment for our classroom. The students are now able to independently access their technology and learn important life skills like responsibility and organization. \r\nThe wobble stools were a student favorite!! During circle time, students sit on wobble cushions placed on their chairs, which helps them stay focused and engaged. When we read books together, they often bring the cushions to the floor and use them there too. At our fine motor table, the donut seats have been a big hit—students love sitting on them flat or flipping them sideways to bounce while they work. The bouncy yoga ball has found the perfect home in our calm corner, where students can use it to regulate their emotions and refocus when they need a break.\r\n\r\nThey were so excited to see the new seating options in our classroom! The moment they arrived, students were eager to try them out. Many of them immediately picked their favorite spot and couldn't wait to test out the different cushions and seats. Their excitement made it clear how much these new choices mean to them.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, my students will continue to use flexible seating during both independent and group work. Our next step is to build routines around making responsible choices—learning how to select a seat that helps them stay focused and respectful of others. These options not only keep students engaged in their learning, but also give them tools to regulate their emotions when they need a break. I'm excited to see how this added independence supports their growth academically, socially, and emotionally.","fullyFundedDate":1745498296465,"projectUrl":"project/seating-to-thrive-empowering-students-w/9083866/","projectTitle":"Seating to Thrive: Empowering Students With Flexible Options","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Swearingen","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9835688_orig.jpg?crop=1020,1020,x904,y108&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1738031072862","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9835688"},{"teacherId":7154843,"projectId":8720471,"letterContent":"I cannot thank you enough for your generosity in helping provide new tables for my students!
