Our class pets are warmer and more comfortable but the benefit to us has been that they are more active for my classes to observe! We have added a Betta fish with floating plants. I personally am so grateful for the weekend feeders and clean filters to make these extra chores in my classroom a breeze. \r\n\r\nWhite out, cardstock, flashcard rings are all being used! It is so nice to have everything I need to prepare sturdy activities plus enough to share with students when they ask. \r\n\r\nWe have seeds started in hydroponic system as well as in soil. Our mealworms are slowly reproducing in their new bedding; the next plan is to add more worms and beetles to that ecosystem. The composting earthworms are very happy and helping break down veggie scraps from our cafeteria every week. We have had a great first year at my new school and you are a big part of that!
