Due to Covid-19, our students have missed many group and hands-on activities. Students in all classes will use the Scientific Student Stirring Hot Plates multiple times throughout the School Year on many projects. Students will be able to safely mix and heat chemicals and observe and measure reaction rates and solubilities. From simple dissolving of substances to activating chemical reactions, students will discover first hand how chemical reactions work. Virtual learning does not replace the sense and feel of the "in-person" experience. Seeing and actually doing is superior to simulations or to watching a video or even seeing a demonstration. The actual experience will leave a lasting impact on each student.
