These materials will help my students stretch their minds and become more creative when answering and responding. As I stated earlier, we try and use student created responses as much as possible. For example, after learning about figurative language, we will creative a TikTok recording making up our own examples of figurative language. The students will be able to use the materials I requested to make better recordings. We also create one-pagers analyzing different elements of a novel or poem. The markers and other materials will be used for these student created responses. The students love showing what they learned in a variety of ways. We try and work closely with other departments as much as possible. Cross-curriculum with the math and history department has been a priority of mine for several years. These materials will benefit those departments as well.
