My kids were so excited to be a part of making their school a better place and even more excited to have a job. We started off our recycle program by having pairs of students present the program to every classroom and present them each with two small recycle bins. \r\nOnce every classroom had their recycle bins we were able to start collecting. We have already collected two printer paper boxes full of crayons and markers. We have set up a crayon station in the library where kids can fill a bag with the broken crayons to take home. Any not used will be taken to Staples to be recycled. \r\nAgain thank you for making this project possible. My students are so excited for the chance to be responsible school citizens.","fullyFundedDate":1757510235519,"projectUrl":"project/changing-the-world-one-crayon-at-a-time/9519827/","projectTitle":"Changing the World One Crayon at a Time","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Fleming","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp1878718_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1452008616221","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/1878718"},{"teacherId":3606943,"projectId":9113026,"letterContent":"I just wanted to take a moment to send a huge thank you for the snacks you donated to my kindergarten class! Your generosity means so much to us, and it's made a real difference in the classroom.\r\n\r\nHaving snacks available has been a game-changer for my students. A lot of them come to school hungry, and being able to give them a little something to eat has helped them focus and stay energized throughout the day. It's amazing to see them more engaged and ready to learn after snack time. They're always so excited when it's time to eat!\r\n\r\nThe snacks have also created a wonderful sense of community in the room. Sharing a snack together has become a special part of the day where the kids bond and connect. It's such a simple thing, but it's made a big impact on their social skills and overall mood.\r\n\r\nThanks to your kindness, my students are more focused, happier, and better prepared for learning. You've truly helped make their school experience better, and I can't thank you enough.\r\n\r\nAgain, thank you for your support.
