I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for your generous contribution to our kindergarten classroom. Thanks to your kindness and support, we now have an exciting new resource that has truly transformed the way our students engage with early literacy skills: a set of magnet letters.\r\n\r\nAs a teacher dedicated to fostering a love of learning and laying a strong foundation for reading and writing, I am continually seeking innovative and effective tools to support my students. The magnet letters have become a cornerstone of our daily activities, allowing young learners to explore sounds, words, and spelling in a hands-on, interactive way. Your generosity has made it possible for my students to experience learning with enthusiasm and confidence that I could only dream of before.\r\n\r\nIn our classroom, the magnet letters have opened up a world of possibilities. Children can manipulate the letters to form words, experiment with different sound combinations, and see the immediate results of their efforts. This tactile approach makes the abstract concepts of phonics and word building tangible and accessible for young learners. It encourages active participation, fosters creativity, and nurtures a sense of curiosity and discovery. Witnessing my students eagerly experimenting with sounds and watching their confidence grow as they successfully build words has been incredibly rewarding—something made possible by your support.","fullyFundedDate":1771685335830,"projectUrl":"project/magnetic-minds-fund-our-letter-magnets/9984108/","projectTitle":"Magnetic Minds: Fund Our Letter Magnets","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Morgan","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2230656_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1557195555453","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrsrachelmorgan"},{"teacherId":2361217,"projectId":9559489,"letterContent":"This project, \"Legos and Engineering\", continues to be a joy to teach and witness. We are a school/classroom with many diverse cultures, and many walk into first grade without ever have eaten a taco. Sure, they love pizza and know all about it. But, tacos? Well, we fix that right away. Our classroom library WAS a little thin when it came to taco books. Not anymore thanks to you.\r\n\r\n Our taco theme in the classroom is fun, but it also serves as a vehicle to engage the students. We play taco games, we have taco costumes, taco stuffies and stickers, and now plenty of books (on many levels) about tacos. The students love reading these fun taco books. We \"book shop\" each morning to pick 3 books per student to work with, and the taco books are generally the first to go. Thanks to you and the folks at Humble Hearts, we now also have more taco games and taco costumes!\r\n\r\n This love turned knowledge of tacos culminates at the end of the year when all write a classroom book (each student gets a page to write and a page to draw) called \"Alien Meets Taco\" in which they have to describe a taco to an alien from another planet.
