Having the anchor chart rack and clips has made it so much easier to store and display all of our thinking maps—like our circle maps and tree maps—as well as our social-emotional learning and behavior charts. It keeps them easily accessible for the students during our daily lessons.\r\n\r\nOne of the absolute favorite additions to our room is the new classroom rewards prize cart! I was able to set up a class store using the rolling cart and the wonderful, engaging prizes you provided. It truly helps the students stay excited about learning, gives them something positive to work toward, and even helps teach the concept of managing money to little ones as young as 4 to 6 years old. They also absolutely love having the bright, colorful new classroom bins to keep our space organized.\r\n\r\nWhen the students saw the new items arriving, they were completely astounded! They wanted to know where all these amazing things came from and were so excited to start using them. Some of the most enthusiastic reactions were for our three new sensory bins: the Ocean Explorers bin, the Ice Cream Shop bin, and the Dinosaur bin!\r\n\r\nOur next steps will be using our new supplies for engaging, interactive arts and crafts that tie directly into our current standards across all subjects—including ELA, math, science, and social studies. We are extremely excited to use the modeling clay to create clay turtles, which will beautifully connect our ELA informational writing unit on turtles with our science standards on animal life cycles!\r\n\r\nOnce again, thank you so much for your generous donations. They have actively contributed to my growth as an educator and have brought so much fulfillment and daily joy to our classroom. Every single item from this project has been put to great use, and my students have benefited so much from your support. Our daily routines are running so smoothly now; the desk bins have helped students keep their workspaces neat, and the small mesh bags are perfectly holding their markers, colored pencils, and crayons. Our literacy resources are protected too, as the mesh zipper bags are doing a wonderful job keeping our library books safe and sound during their travels from school to home and back. \r\nYour gifts also brought our learning to life in the most amazing ways. For our Project-Based Learning (PBL) assignment, students published a book about the origins of their names, and they absolutely loved using the little globes to show their parents exactly where in the world their names came from. We also used the Japanese carps for a special Boys' Day lesson, where the students learned the beautiful cultural meaning behind them. Your kindness has truly enriched our classroom, and we are so incredibly grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1771651763555,"projectUrl":"project/hands-on-learning-art-time-and-the-wo/10106556/","projectTitle":"Hands-On Learning: Art, Time, and the World!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Estrada","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9913489"},{"teacherId":3774238,"projectId":10109234,"letterContent":"Thank you so much your generous donation. At first they weren't very coordinated jumping a single rope by themself, but they persevered and improved quickly. They then moved to jumping into a long rope turned by two other people. They rose to the challenge of running through the moving rope, jumping in and jumping out, to doing different poses while jumping.
