Most of my students are known as a geographical exception. Their parents opted to send their children to my school, instead of the school located where they live. They live in a rough part of our island and they can be a little rough themselves. Despite it all they still have so much love to give and this is what continues to amaze me about them everyday. These students have gone through so much in their young lives. I want to give the students at my school more resources and opportunities. They deserve an outlet and an opportunity to show the world just how amazing they truly are. As a school we don't have a vast amount of funds to help support our students and our classrooms. My students have shown tremendous growth and are constantly wanting to learn, read, and experience more. I want the resources to help me provide the continuous, exciting learning that my students deserve!
