As a 3rd grade teacher at a Title I school, I plan to use the reading, writing, social studies, and social-emotional learning workbooks during small-group instruction to provide targeted support and enrichment based on student needs.\r\n\r\nStudents will use the sticky notes and highlighters to learn annotation strategies, helping them interact more deeply with texts, identify important details, and support their thinking with evidence. These tools will also be incorporated into writing lessons as students learn to organize ideas, revise their work, and strengthen their responses.\r\nI am especially excited to use these materials to help students become confident, independent learners. \r\nThe workbooks will provide meaningful practice opportunities while allowing me to differentiate instruction and meet students where they are.
