Many of them rushed over and started opening the boxes right away, curious to see what was inside. They couldn't wait to try the new games and puzzles. It was amazing to see their faces light up with joy and interest. These games have turned indoor recess into a fun yet meaningful learning time. My students enjoy playing them with their classmates, and at the same time, they're practicing important skills in math and science without even realizing it. The new headphones were also a big hit—my students now use them every day for reading activities, practicing English, and especially during tests, which are very common in 5th grade.\r\nThe games have even helped us in our regular lessons. The plant puzzle, for example, became a great model when we were making diagrams for our unit on environments. Students could look at it to help them understand how plants grow and survive. The space puzzle fit perfectly with our final unit on planets, and students were so proud to connect playtime with class projects. It helped them remember the material more easily. The headphones are always in use in our classroom—they help my bilingual students focus on their own level of work, and they make independent study time much more productive. Thanks to these supplies, my students are more focused, better prepared, and truly enjoying the learning process!","fullyFundedDate":1733252176954,"projectUrl":"project/engaging-minds-indoor-games-and-headpho/8787540/","projectTitle":"Engaging Minds: Indoor Games and Headphones for Bilingual Learners","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Acevedo","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2539281_orig.jpg?crop=1443,1443,x1520,y768&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1566688448625","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2539281"},{"teacherId":8099873,"projectId":8995793,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generosity, my readers have been so excited about the new additions to our classroom library!\r\n\r\nI haven't been able to keep some of these titles -- especially the \"I Survived\" series -- on my shelves.
