In our science class we like to go out and explore the natural world. Going outside into the field of our school has been a great way to engage students in conversation about organisms. Students are often most engages when they are able to manipulate objects and are often fascinated by what they see under a microscope leaving them with many questions and wanting to explore even more. We then take this curiosity and explore deeper through reading and writing. Students will benefit from being able to use good quality materials to collect and see the specimens they find while also enhancing their learning.
