Your support made a meaningful impact in my classroom, and the books you provided brought new life and excitement to our reading experiences. We used these texts for whole-class read-alouds during Black History Month, individual book studies, and independent silent reading.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, my students discovered books they may never have encountered otherwise and explored perspectives from people with different backgrounds and life experiences. These stories encouraged them to think critically about the world and their own place within it. Some students were so engaged that they even asked to borrow books to continue reading at home! Macbeth in the No Fear Shakespeare editions has helped make it more accessible to them and helps them engage in the story, while also still being able to see the original text. \r\n\r\nEvery year I start Macbeth the students from the previous talk about how much they loved reading the play and help get the current students excited to be a part of the lessons. \r\n\r\nI have also seen students who are shy or reluctant to read out loud in front of class step out of their comfort zones to read Macbeth.
