I would like an iPad to use in class to help my students have more time on task. With an iPad, I greet students at the door and take roll simultaneously. This will save time at the start of class. It will also encourage students to be on time as they can see me in the hall ready to mark them present or tardy. Having an iPad in to use in the classroom will allow me more flexibility going over grades and assignments with students. Students won't need to wait for the teaching computer to be available. This will allow me to work with individuals while projecting information in front of the class. Having an iPad will also allow students to look up information during class as they are not permitted to have their cell phones out during class. Thank you in advance for considering funding my project.
