As we head into the end of the school year — with testing pressure, long days, and emotions running high — your support has made a tremendous difference for my students.\r\nThese last few weeks have been pretty overwhelming for them. They're trying so hard to stay focused and push through the demands of testing season, and having a reliable place to stop by for a snack or a moment to reset has been a true lifeline. Being able to grab something quick to eat has given so many students the brain break they need to calm their nerves and get their energy back. I've watched students walk in drained or anxious, take a snack, breathe, and walk out with a little more strength to face the rest of the day.\r\nThe noise‑canceling headphones have also been a huge help — even more than I expected. During our Test Prep Pep Rally in the gym, several students became overwhelmed by the noise, the crowd, and the energy of the event. Having the headphones readily available allowed them to block out the chaos, regulate their emotions, and stay present without shutting down. One student put them on, took a deep breath, and said, \"Okay... I can handle this now.\" That moment alone showed just how powerful these tools are.\r\nThe Lion's Den has continued to be a trusted space for students who need a moment to decompress. Whether it's before a big test, after a stressful class, or during a tough day, students know they can come in, grab a snack, use a sensory tool, or simply take a breath. Your generosity created that space.\r\nAs we wrap up the year, our next steps are helping students build consistent routines around self‑regulation and emotional awareness so they can carry these skills into the summer and beyond. Thanks to you, they now have the tools to do that with confidence and dignity.\r\nThank you again for believing in my students and giving them the support they needed during one of the toughest times of the year. Your kindness truly made a difference — more than you know.","fullyFundedDate":1777220794113,"projectUrl":"project/pride-power-hub-nourishment-regulation/10212902/","projectTitle":"Pride Power Hub: Nourishment, Regulation, and a Safe Reset","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Wan Lockhart","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9579270"},{"teacherId":9271451,"projectId":9284325,"letterContent":"I am deeply grateful for your generous support of our project, \"Capture the Moment for Tomorrow's Visionaries,\" which provides our students with access to two remarkable lenses that will truly transform their learning experience.
