Students learn math through hands on activities. These items will enable the students to work in an interactive and hands in environment in a daily basis. The pencil sharpener is a daily need in our classroom as we do all our work in pencil, including colored pencils. The construction paper is an item used weekly for projects. The toner and copy paper is used on a daily basis for their warm ups, practices and foldables for their interactive notebooks. They enjoy seeing math put to use and put to use by themselves! They have the opportunity to do their work on white boards, which is why the expo markers are a necessity. Math is such an important part of every day life and we attempt to show this on a daily basis as well as make it fun! Most students struggle with math until they realize what an important part it is to their life. Once they do, the may struggle still but it becomes more of a challenge to themselves! This is why they need these supplies!
