I am newly hired educator in Miami Dade County. I am so excited to get started because teaching has always been a dream of mine. I recently participated in a teacher training program called TEAChStrong that was provided by Dade County for career changers like me. During this program I was able to cultivate an array of techniques that cater to fragile schools in the area. I am very excited to begin working and implement these techniques in the fall! I have welcomed the challenge of working in a fragile school in Miami because my students can truly benefit from my compassion and drive to succeed. I want to provide my students with the most warm and welcoming classroom environment that I can. Working in a fragile school comes with a set of challenges that include a lack of resources. That being said, in order to create an incredible teaching environment to encourage a love for science and education, I desperately need the help of generous donators.
