My students are becoming confident writers in and the donated supplies have helped them feel like professional writers. For example, my students love the author's chair. Every Friday, a few students volunteer to sit in this chair and read their stories. I know they can read their stories standing or in an ordinary chair. However, this special seat dedicated just for authors has really brought some pride to those who choose to sit in it and read their stories.
