At this age, children often have so much they want to share but are still developing the language and writing skills to express all of their ideas. Our art center has given them another way to show their creativity, express themselves, and demonstrate what they are learning. I love watching their confidence grow as they proudly create something that is completely their own.\r\n\r\nThe Play-Doh and Play-Doh tools have also become a favorite part of our classroom! While my students think they are simply playing and having fun, they are strengthening the small muscles in their hands and fingers that they will eventually need for writing, cutting, drawing, and other important classroom skills. Rolling, squeezing, pinching, cutting, and shaping the Play-Doh gives them meaningful fine-motor practice in a way that feels exciting instead of like work.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in my students and giving them opportunities to learn through creativity and play.
