I am a mental health clinician providing school-based therapy support for students. Now that our students are back in schools we are seeing the emotional effects that came along with COVID. With these classroom supplies and furniture I want to create a space in which students can feel seen, heard, and understood, a space in which they learn that having fidgets can be a way of calming down and when they look around the classroom they see posters of positive affirmation. I want to create a safe and warm welcoming space for them.
