During our Bill of Rights unit, each student selected an amendment and created a detailed, colorful poster illustrating its importance. One standout moment was watching a student carefully use felt-tip pens and colored pencils to depict freedom of speech through a powerful visual scene—something that would not have been possible without these high-quality supplies.\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, their excitement was immediate and contagious. Many of them had never used such a wide variety of art tools before, especially items like the amount of color pencils and the crayon sharpener. There were huge smiles and a rush of creative energy as they eagerly organized their new supplies into their art boxes. That enthusiasm carried directly into their work, as they took greater pride in their projects and spent more time refining details. Recreating Van Gogh's Sunflowers became not just an art lesson, but an experience where students felt like real artists experimenting with color and technique.\r\nAs we move forward, students are now applying these same tools to our science project, where they are designing prosthetics for animals. Their next step is to finalize detailed drawings, complete with labeled parts and explanations of function, before constructing their models.
